Come to Phu Yen and travel on a dreamlike coastal road
Phu Yen is not only famous for its blue sea, white sand, and impressive cuisine but also for beautiful roads that must be visited at least once in a lifetime.
Phu Yen has many beautiful routes such as Tuy Hoa – Deo Ca, Tuy Hoa – Ganh Da Dia, Tuy Hoa – Van Hoa Plateau, Song Cau – Quy Nhon. but the most beautiful is still the coastal road of Phu Yen. Photo: Hoai Luan
The most beautiful section is on National Highway 29 starting from the middle of Deo Ca (Ca Pass) on National Highway 1A, running down to Vung Ro port, passing through Mui Dien - Dai Lanh lighthouse, then following the coastline northward and entering Hung Vuong Avenue, into Tuy Hoa city. The road from Tuy Hoa City to Vung Ro has stretches of crystal blue seawater. This road is nearly 40 km long, with the sea on one side and mountains on the other. Photo: Ha Le
Standing on the road, one side is the deep blue sea. Deo Ca cuts across the Dai Lanh mountain range, running between Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa. Climbing up to Vung Ro village, Hoa Xuan Nam commune, Dong Hoa town, tourists will reach the summit of the pass. Photo: Ha Le
The clear blue seawater visible to the bottom is so enticing that tourists only want to stop by the roadside and dive in for a refreshing swim. Photo: Ha Le
The beauty along this road must include Dai Lanh lighthouse – considered the easternmost point on the mainland of Vietnam. At the foot of Mui Dien is Bai Mon – a beautiful beach for camping and swimming. Photo: Hoai Luan
Bai Mon, at the foot of Mui Dien, is a beautiful beach for camping and swimming. The road continues to wind up and down along the coast and mountain ranges, crossing the Da Nong river mouth to enter Hung Vuong Avenue. Photo: Ha Le
Photo: Ha Le Sand dunes cast shadows in the light along the roadside. Phu Yen belongs to the central coastal climate zone, with a distinct division between two seasons: the dry season from January to August and the rainy season from September to December. Around October and November are prone to storms. The most beautiful sea is around March and April, with clear, calm, and tranquil waters, creating a peaceful scenery in this place.
